HOW IT WORKS

Each recipient is given an intake form which includes three names to contact should we not be able to reach them.  Hopefully, one is a neighbor. Should they not be reachable by a specific time of day, the police will be called to do a welfare check. To eliminate having to break down a door, the Police will have access to a key.

ONLY the police are to go inside. They are trained for this;  it’s not something we want to do.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING THIS TO YOUR ORGANIZATION

You’ll need the one-page intake form and someone in charge of this service for your organization to keep them on file. Our files are paperless; maintained by the ministry administrator. Mostly, you’ll need people willing to make some phone calls – some in the morning and as needed, some in the evening. Be sure to vet your volunteers. The Casa Grande Police Department utilizes fingerprints and background checks on their volunteers.
