WHAT IT’S ABOUT

The purpose of this organization is to look out for the health and welfare

of the most vulnerable community members  - the homebound and those living

alone without routine calls or visits.

They receive a phone call every morning – “Just Checking In”. 

If necessary, the Police

will perform a welfare check. The Chief of Police of Ventura highly endorses this program. 

WHO WE ARE 

We are a group of volunteers from Community Presbyterian Church in Ventura.

The initial training was conducted by Wendy Lloyd

of the Casa Grande, AZ Police Department  and has been modified to suit the needs of a smaller organization such as ours. We are willing to share our system with you if you'd like to bring this service to your organization or community.
